All about the rescued

Understanding where they come from, what they have been through and all they have to offer.

Rescuing is the single most rewarding thing I have done apart from caring for my parents in their old age and the statement ” My dog rescued me” is a very accurate one as most pet parents who adopt will tell you.

I was looking for a dog to help my mother heal from a long illness and that dog, who’s name was Toby, did not only give her purpose and gave her the strength to fight her illness he also rescued me – something I was not expecting at all. His unconditional love and sincere gratitude for having a family showed me what true unconditional love was and how to be a better person, more patient and caring.

Our family has rescued 6 dogs thus far, all breeds all equally perfect in every way even though most have had health issues, and will continue to rescue and strive to help those who are not wanted and discarded because they are not the right size, color ,age, or temperament – they need love and someone to work with them and teach them that not all humans are bad people.

The rescue teams I have worked with are some of the most selfless people I have met and their only goal is to keep that dog safe and provide a healthily stable environment for them, they will work with the dog endlessly to ensure they are placed with the right family so he or she has the opportunity to grow and be a GREAT COMPANION.

My wish is that every dog and Vet gets saved and what a great bonus if they can save each other for the daily pain they endure! We owe both so much and should always be our # 1 priority to help.

Happy Rescuing 🙂

The decision to rescue a dog is not an easy one, it is a very serious one and one that is a lifetime commitment, know that the rewards of owning a rescue dog out weigh any possible negative impact on your life. You have to be 100% committed to that dog taking on the responsibility of keeping hi/her healthy and safe and if any major medical issues arise committing to caring for them as long as they decide to be with you., you should never abandon them when things get hard as they that thought would never cross their minds when it came to you. So take your time and find the right companion who will also “save you” and give my the purest love and devoti
