The Pause Bed & Breakfast
A quaint, romantic, pet-friendly craftsman cottage in Central Pennsylvania. We offer many add-ons and packages such as massage, turn down service, kayak rentals (we shuttle you to and from), S’mores & Stars everything you need for a bonfire and s’mores (the stars are up to Mama Nature), Sunset Cruises (wine/charcuterie board) and day floats (which include lunch), on Raystown Lake and more!
We offer two different romance packages, a girls’ getaway package, boudoir photo shoots and so much more.
The Master Suite has its own private entrance, sleeps two, very comfortably, and includes a King bed and double shower. You have your own coffee/tea station, smart television, mini frig, and microwave. We include toiletries so you don’t have to bother. There’s an electric fireplace and silky robes for you to lounge about in!
Our other Suite is called the Retreat Suite and has two Queen bedrooms, a common room that’s stocked with a smart television, a refrigerator, microwave, board games, snacks/drinks, extra sleeping space on a modern sofa bed that pulls out as well as necessities like an ironing board, etc. The Retreat Suite bathroom has a free-standing soaker tub. We provide bath bombs, Salts and bubbles. You have lovely views out the bedrooms that are located at the back of the house for quiet and privacy.
We deliver a locally-sourced, as organic as possible breakfast to your suite or we’ll happily serve it in the dining room or on the patio. We provide dog beds, bowls, poo bags and we’ll walk your “pup” while you’re out and about. We have something for outdoor enthusiasts, those looking for live music and adult beverages those who just want to have “zen time” with Mama Nature or those who just want to read a book without interruption!
